Verona has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its urban peculiarities and its artistic and cultural heritage.
Its symbol is the Arena and it is known throughout the world for William Shakespeare's work Romeo and Juliet.
Home to a university and an important hub for logistics and intermodal exchange through the Quadrante Europa, industry plays a key role in the city's economy, as do trade fair and cultural tourism.

The Verona Arena is a Roman amphitheatre , one of the large buildings that characterised Roman architecture and one of the ancient amphitheatres that has reached us in the best state of conservation, thanks to the systematic restoration carried out since the sixteenth century .

During the summer months it hosts the famous Arena opera festival , whose seasons have been held uninterruptedly since 1913, while the rest of the year it is the destination of many international singers and musicians.

The Castelvecchio Museum is one of the most important museums in the city, mainly dedicated to Italian and European art. The museum was restored and set up with modern criteria between 1958 and 1974 by the famous architect Carlo Scarpa.

Juliet's house is a medieval civil building located in Via Cappello in Verona , a short distance from the central Piazza delle Erbe .

It is one of the Shakespearean places in Verona, together with Juliet's tomb and Romeo's house , linked to the universal and positive ideal of love and for this reason it has become the destination of a secular and popular pilgrimage, so much so that it is the most visited monument in the city.

Piazza San Zeno is a large public space in Verona, located in the neighborhood of the same name, within the city walls and not far from Porta San Zeno by Michele Sanmicheli.

Piazza delle Erbe (or more simply Piazza Erbe) is the oldest square in Verona and is located above the area of the Roman Forum.

In the Roman age it was the centre of political and economic life; over time the Roman buildings gave way to medieval ones.

In 2012 it was considered the most loved Italian square in the world.
